I created this project as a gift for my brother Matteo. The idea was to create a concept that reflects our familys heritage. My grandfather came to Sweden during the 60´s, from a little town close to Monte bianco (white mountain) in the northern of Italy. Close to 40 years later me and my brother where born. It was to be shown that we were going to grow up by the foot of another white mountain, Vita bergen in Stockholm, Södermalm.
To celebrate the journey from one mountain to another, from one journey to many more, I wanted to reflect the genuinity of the Italian traditions with the modern and contemporary swedish design.
